Commonly Replaced Parts for Startrite 352 (W/ Footbrake)
Typically the most common parts to need replacing on these bandsaws are as follows:
Guide Blocks (Rollers Now Available)

The Startrite 352 was originally fitted with 4x 4891 guide blocks. While these guides do give you good control of the blade, they are prone to wearing at the 352’s high speeds.
We’ve now introduced a roller guide for the 352 that can replace the original guide blocks with ease. These guides are better suited to high speed sawing, reducing friction. This improves life of the guides and life of the bandsaw blade.
Bandwheels are crucial for maintaining tracking on Startrite bandsaws. The rubber is a convex shape, which keeps the blade central.
It’s very common part to replace when servicing a Startrite bandsaw
Over time, the bandwheels will become worn flat, resulting in poor tracking. You may find the blade comes off regularly, snaps or is difficult to control and cut accurately
Replacement drive belts are available from stock. There are multiple sizes, so you need to check your belt length to buy the correct one.
Worn drive belts is a common problem, often resulting in a loss of power, noisy and squeaky drive system and increased vibrations.
