TOMMY BAR (BLADE CHANGE TOOL)

Startrite TA175 & TA275 Tommy Bar – blade changing tool.

This tool is used to hold the saw spindle in place when removing the blade. To use it follow these instructions:

• Ensure the blade height and tilt isn’t adjusted. (Top height and 90 Degrees).
• Push the tommy bar into a hole in the table, to the left of the table insert. Ensure the tommy bar is resting on the Spindle.
• Slowly spin the blade by hand until the tommy bar drops into the spindle hole, locking it in place.
• Remove the Blade. (The Thread is right handed).
